The Landing Pad provides shared, part-time, workspace as well as collaborative social networking opportunities. It was developed for nonprofit consultants, interim ED's, part-time project staff, community volunteers, telecommuters, social entrepreneurs and other freelance folks in mind. It provides them with a tangible, "bricks and mortar" presence in Marin County, gives them a place to touch down in between meetings, and creates an ongoing connection vehicle for a vibrant network of cross-sector freelancers all dedicated to a vision of a socially, environmentally, and economically positive future.
In our initial membership recruitment, we're focusing on assembling a core group of members that fit well together and that make sense as a founding cohort. Since the concept for the space is not just about the bricks and mortar workspace but also about building and fostering innovative, collaborative relationship networks, we want to be very mindful and strategic about the initial member group - that's why we're starting with key, word of mouth, relationship networks and ask for your assistance in letting colleagues that you feel would be a good fit know about this space. At $45 and $85 per month for membership, the price point will attract quite a few people just looking for cheap space, but we want The Landing Pad to be much more than that, and need your help to do so. We've already had a strong response to the first round of personal emails and are hoping to fill most of the space with just this word of mouth marketing campaign.
We only have about 30 membership spaces left, so please take a look at our information sheet and give us a call (415-492-9444) or send an email if you have any questions or would like a tour of the space.
